Joe Krzeczkowski (krez-cow-ski or simply Joe K) is a technology executive, software professional, community leader, and candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in Colorado’s 7th Congressional District

Joe was raised on a small family farm outside Ann Arbor, Michigan, in a hardworking Catholic household. His father was a Ford autoworker and his mother managed their home, raising six children. Losing two of his siblings to Muscular Dystrophy taught Joe the importance of family, community, and affordable healthcare. Through this upbringing, Joe learned the enduring values of responsibility, empathy, and compromise.
Supported and encouraged by his public school teachers, Joe worked to earn a full ride scholarship to the University of Michigan Engineering School. After graduation, Joe came to Colorado for better weather and better career prospects but chose to put down roots here because of the amazing people and culture. Joe has since spent his career in Colorado leading global software teams, building systems that solve real-world problems, running small businesses, and serving in his community. Most recently Joe was leading a Community Council in Lakewood and supporting the Make Lakewood Livable campaign.

Joe is now running to represent the 7th Congressional District of Colorado to make life livable for all, bringing a problem-solver’s heart to the challenges every family faces. He lives in Lakewood with his partner and two huskies where he serves his community as a local volunteer and advocate for a more livable Colorado.
