Joe’s not asking for some extremist idea, he’s demanding that our Colorado leaders bring the same rules to Washington that their voters require at home.

We’re not perfect, but Independent Coloradans have a long history of doing the right thing here at home. Since 1876, we required balanced budgets, then age limits in 1966, term limits in 1998, criminalized profiting off of public office in 2002, and in 2006, we started to get money out of politics.

Joe believes in defending the working class from exploitation, balancing the budget, eliminating rigged loopholes, and upholding human rights and constitutional protections without exception.

Voting for an Independent is a protest against the two parties that continually refuse to do what the voters demand.

You can’t split the vote…
You’ll make powerful enemies…
You can’t run against a woman…
You have to play it safe this year…

Colorado party leaders told us all of these things and for 50 years, the establishment politicians told us to play it safe because they were “better than the other side.”
We’ve been playing it safe but wages don’t increase, cost of living skyrockets, we beg for regulation on Social Media and AI but are left to fend for ourselves against billion-dollar corporations.  At some point you have to look in the mirror and realize that maybe the problem isn’t just “the other side.”

The 90s saw the rise of the Clintons and their neoliberal abandonment of the working class. Then in 2009 they bailed out Wall Street instead of Main Street. 2015, the party establishment rigged the game against Bernie Sanders to force another Clinton era. In 2016, leadership doubled down on their losing strategy, completely abandoning rural voters to chase wealthy suburbanites instead. By 2020, they went right back to the status quo with do-nothing politics. Fast forward to 2024 and primary votes didn’t even matter; everyone was just told to fall in line behind Kamala Harris. Now in 2026, they are still running the exact same old, play-it-safe playbook.

The 80s kicked off this hypocrisy with the promise of prosperity while shipping American manufacturing jobs overseas. Then in the 2000s, they dragged the country into endless, trillion-dollar Middle Eastern conflicts under the guise of freedom, while passing the Patriot Act to gut basic civil liberties at home. By the time they took the White House again, the populist rhetoric about helping the forgotten working class evaporated instantly, replaced by massive corporate deregulation and a Supreme Court stack designed to strip away established personal freedoms. Now, they completely control the narrative with culture wars to distract from the fact that their economic engine only runs for the top one percent.
